shwaas is built to be private by design. We do not require an account, we do not track you, we show no ads, and we do not collect or upload your personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
We do not collect any personal information. The app has no user accounts and no analytics or advertising SDKs. Your breathing sessions, custom patterns, breath-hold test results, and settings are stored only in local storage on your iPhone.
You may choose to export your own practice history as a CSV or JSON file using the in-app export feature. When you do this, the file is created on your device and you decide where it goes (for example, saving it or sharing it). We never receive a copy.
Optional premium features are offered through Apple's In-App Purchase and are handled entirely by Apple. We do not see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy.
The app plays audio (ambient sounds, voice cues, chimes, and a tone generator). It does not record audio and does not access your microphone.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
shwaas is intended for general wellbeing and relaxation. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional before beginning any new breathing practice.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
